The Cornish Pirates ‘Tribute Player of the Month’ for April has been confirmed, and for the second time this season the award goes to January winner Kyle Moyle.
The club’s leading try-scorer in the Championship, with 12 to his name, Kyle was nominated alongside fellow squad members Brett Beukeboom, Nicolas De Battista and Christian Judge.
Kyle has been an ever-present performer for the Pirates this season, including featuring in all three games played and won in April. His performances were impressive in each and he scored a fine try in the match away to Bedford Blues.
Kyle was presented with his latest ‘Tribute’ award at the club’s end of season Dinner & Awards event held at the Penventon Hotel, Redruth, last Friday.
The St. Austell Brewery ‘Tribute’ Player of the Month award was introduced last season, with the coaching team nominating four players each month. The winner is presented with a case of Tribute Ale, as is one lucky voter each month, who is chosen at random.
