The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce an exciting new chapter for the club, as we welcome Paul Robinson Solicitors as our new Main Club Partners.
The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that lock Josh King is the next Pirate to commit his future to the club, entering his third season in Cornwall for 25/26. The Scottish forward has been a virtual ever present this season, stepping up as captain on several occasions, and has amassed 42 appearances and two tries so far for the club during his time here.
This Saturday - EASTER SATURDAY - will see the Cornish Pirates welcome Caldy to the Mennaye Field for a scheduled Round 17 fixture in this season’s RFU Championship (ko 2.30pm).
The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that scrum half Dan Hiscocks has signed a new deal with the club. Joining from Ealing Trailfinders in the summer, the former Wales age groups halfback has enjoyed an excellent first season in Cornwall, establishing himself as one of the top 9's in the league with seven tries in 21 appearances so far.
After two years of intensive work, the Tier 2 Board with the RFU and Championship clubs, is announcing a new and improved league, starting next season, with a vision to inspire and engage current and future generations of rugby fans, while also bringing commercial sustainability and growth to its clubs.
This SUNDAY will see the Cornish Pirates welcome Cambridge to the Mennaye Field for a scheduled Round 15 fixture in this season’s RFU Championship (ko 2.30pm).
News this week has confirmed the passing at home of John Gendall, a former Pirates player and club stalwart who was also a Life Member.
The Cornish Pirates are pleased to announce the signing of 27-year-old lock forward Mike Etete. UK-born, and joining from National 1 side Blackheath, 6’ 7” Mike, who has also on occasions played in the back row, scored a try for the Cornish Pirates when guesting in their recent home win against the Royal Navy.
Now, after a lengthy break, Championship league action returns to the Mennaye Field on Friday night with the visit of London Scottish. It is a sixth versus seventh in the league contest which everyone will be looking forward to.
After a 4-week break, rugby action returns for the Cornish Pirates on Friday evening with a home ‘friendly’ at the Mennaye Field against the Royal Navy (ko 7.30m).
