Margaret Lyon RIP

It was with great sadness to hear that Margaret Lyon passed away in the early hours of Thursday, aged 84, having lost her brave battle with cancer.

Margaret was a wonderful lady and a stalwart supporter of all things good – including rugby about the county, and the Pirates in particular.

Condolences are expressed to her husband Rod and all family members, who will naturally miss her but also never forget the thoughtful, supportive, loving, and caring person she was, and how proud they were of her.

Following sad news confirming the recent passing of stalwart supporter Margaret Lyon, aged 84, it is advised that a family only attended cremation will take place on Tuesday 2^nd April 2024.

Afterwards there will be a celebration of Margaret’s life at Nancegollan Village Hall from 1pm to 4pm, it being her wish that she be remembered there by her friends in an informal way following the cremation and that the occasion be truly a celebration of her life.

Musical Director Alastair Taylor will be in attendance from 1.30pm to 2pm, when he will play a selection of Margaret’s favourite pieces of music. Light refreshments will also be provided and any donations please to The Sunrise Centre at Treliske Hospital.
