The Cornish Pirates can confirm that their scheduled RFU Championship Round 12 fixture away to Richmond on Saturday has been postponed.

The decision to postpone the fixture has been taken by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) after Richmond reported a number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the playing squad. The players in question have mild symptoms and are isolating as per the Government guidelines.

The decision follows the detailed medical protocols in place to ensure that the health and wellbeing of all club players and support staff is protected, and a new date for the fixture will be confirmed as soon as possible.
