Mascots Charlie & Michael Had A Great Day!
When the Cornish Pirates recently played Hartpury RFC at home in the Championship Cup, the two lucky mascots for the day, Charlie Bradley and Michael Patterson and from the Pirates under 8s, enjoyed a memorable day.
Besides having the opportunity to play in an exhibition of tag rugby at half-time, the pair had their names drawn from a hat to run out with Cornish Pirates skipper Tom Duncan and player Dan Lee who the week before had made his 50th appearance for the club.
Michael’s dad Morgan commented:
The boys really did have a great day and were delighted to have their names picked out of a hat to be a mascot.
The Pirates are doing so well to keep community spirit alive in our area and for Michael it was definitely the highlight of his rugby career so far!
