Meet the Players 2023-24

The annual Cornish Pirates ‘Meet the Players’ Evening will take place at the Mennaye Field on Thursday 3^rd August (6 for 6.30pm).

This free admission occasion, which will also include a free ‘hog roast’, provides an opportunity for supporters, sponsors and everyone connected with the club to attend what in the past has always been a popular event in the calendar.

The ground and Marquee bar open at 6pm and, after a structured training session that starts at 6.30pm, the squad will line up in front of the main Truro & Penwith College stand for the team’s new signings to be introduced. This is expected at about 7.15pm.

Following the introductions, joint head coaches Gavin Cattle and Alan Paver will address the crowd to update on pre-season and to outline the club’s hopes and aspirations for 2023/24.

Finally, to conclude the evening, besides one and all having the opportunity to meet and talk informally inside and outside of the marquee, together looking forward to what promises to be another exciting rugby campaign, the popular Cadgwith Singers will also be in full voice, with everyone present no doubt joining in to sing their popular repertoire of songs.
