Javier – The ‘Tribute’ Player of the Month

The Cornish Pirates ‘Tribute Player of the Month’ for October has been confirmed, the award going to Javier Rojas Alvarez.

In four games (1 Cup and 3 League), fly-half/centre Javier amassed 58 points.

Other nominees for the October award were back-rower Will Wilson, centre Callum Patterson, and skipper and lock Brett Beukeboom.

Cornish Pirates’ Chairman Paul Durkin presented Javier with his award at the end of Sunday’s home game versus Ampthill. A case of Tribute Ale is also presented to one lucky voter each month, who is chosen at random.
