Through eight occasions during the past season that a 50/50 Draw was held in hospitality on Cornish Pirates’ home match days, the magnificent total of £2192-50 has been raised for worthy charitable causes.
The split of monies raised £810.00 for The Sowenna Appeal, £175.00 for Brain Tumour Research, £450.00 for The Soldiers’ Charity, £230.00 for Prostate Cancer UK, £277.50 for Cornwall Air Ambulance, and £250.00 for Theatres at Treliske Hospital.
Due thanks are expressed to Lee and Graham Stone for organising the raffles and to Jan Oates for going around the tables and selling tickets.
Sincere letters of appreciation have also been received from recipients.
