May is here, with the end of season on the horizon and three more big Championship fixtures to complete the campaign! Here’s what’s coming up in a busy month to conclude 23/24:

Friday 3 May – Nottingham v Cornish Pirates, Lady Bay (Kick off 7:45pm)

May starts with a tough trip to the Midlands and the Friday Night Lights of Laday Bay. Nottingham possess a dangerous back line and are capable of beating anyone of their day and will no doubt be looking for revenge, after a 41-17 win for the Pirates at The Mennaye back in January.

Saturday 11 May – Cornish Pirates v Coventry, The Mennaye (Kick off 2:30pm)

This one has cracker written all over it! Our final home game of the season is against second placed Coventry, who are currently the form side of The Championship. A second place finish is not out of the question for the third placed Pirates, but they will know a win is essential to achieve that in this one. Being the final home game of the season it all presents the chance to say goodbye to some of our end of season departures, as well as announcing the Supporters Player of the Season (and other awards). With live music afterwards in the marquee, it promises to be an unforgettable day at The Mennaye.

Saturday 25 May – London Scottish v Cornish Pirates, The RAG (Kick off 3:00pm)

Our final fixture of the 23/24 season takes place at The RAG, when we face London Scottish on the Bank Holiday weekend. The Pirates racked up a half century when the two last faced off in the capital back in October in the Premiership Rugby Cup, but it’ll be a different challenge altogether as we try and finish the season on a high.

Off field events:

Brooks Golf Day – Wednesday 8 May, Tehidy Golf Club

End of Season Dinner – Friday 17 May, The Greenbank Hotel
