The partnership between the Cornish Pirates and The Movement Project (TMP) based at Penryn RFC continues to grow.
TMP provides the most innovative training space in Cornwall and having derived benefit from there when training at Penryn on Tuesdays, for the Cornish Pirates it has proved a real bonus.
Atis Amaglo, Cornish Pirates’ Strength & Conditioning coach, has commented:
“The facilities at The Movement Project are super. It’s a huge space, with plenty of excellent equipment for the boys to use.
“On Tuesday training days at Penryn it is also great to have it on our doorstep and to be able to head across to the nearby training pitch. In short, it’s a huge benefit to us.”
The owner of TMT, former Royal Marine Stu Slater, also commented:
“The relationship that started last year is a fantastic one and has continued to work well for us.
“It’s great to see the Cornish Pirates boys back and utilising our new equipment, and we look forward to seeing them throughout the season.”
