Players & Staff at The Cornish Pirates...
Cornishman Zak Chenoweth, who previously performed a Sports Therapist role at the Cornish Pirates from 2018-21, was ahead of the 2023/24 season officially confirmed as a club Physiotherapist, working alongside Simon Edwards, the Head Physiotherapist.
Treliske-born in 1995, Zak was educated at Penrice School in St. Austell, and Truro College, before studying a Sports Rehabilitation degree at Cardiff University and at Marjons, Plymouth. It was a period during which he also gained valuable physiotherapy experience at Redruth RFC, besides then undertaking a Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Plymouth University.
Whilst rugby is an obvious interest – Zak played for St. Austell RFC from under 12s through to seniors – he is also a keen swimmer and climber, who fully embraces exploring Cornish outdoors along with his golden retriever, Finn.
