This Sunday will see the Cornish Pirates welcome London Scottish to the Mennaye Field, for a Round 19 fixture in the Greene King IPA Championship.
This is a 7th versus 11th in the league clash, with Pirates naturally keen to avenge as 32-26 defeat suffered at the Richmond Athletic Ground last November.
The Cornish Pirates backline is the same as started at Hartpury last week, however there are two changes in the pack. Dual-registered players Josh Caulfield and Tom Lawday are both unavailable this week, so Toby Freeman and Dan Lee are named at lock and blind-side flanker respectively.
On the bench there are returns for Dan Frost, Rupert Cooper and Will Cargill.
Cornish Pirates’ coach Gavin Cattle is looking forward to Sunday’s encounter, commenting:
London Scottish always pose a threat. They have capability in the backline and are very creative, and happy to play a running game from their own third we have to be prepared.
However, on the back of recent performances we will go into the game with a lot of confidence, and with an aim to push on and finish this season strongly.
