Young Cornish talent Finn Love signs first Pirates deal

The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce young Cornish talent Finn Love has signed his first professional contract with the club for the 26/27 season.

The 18 year old winger, who has played for Camborne this season, burst onto the scene for the Pirates with a memorable debut try against Harlequins in March and has a bright future ahead. Love, is also USA qualified.

Joint Head Coach, Gavin Cattle, has been delighted with the development of Love already. “Finn has shown real progression – he has been training with us since the Christmas period and in such a short space of time has demonstrated that he has the attributes to compete at Champ level and hopefully beyond. He is athletic, brave, hungry and Cornish! We are really looking forward to working with him and watching him develop.”

Love added “I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to sign my first contract with the club. I couldn’t ask for a better group of players and staff to be joining. I can’t wait to get going.”
