Thatchers Cider become Premier Partner in new long term deal

The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce a new long-term deal with Thatchers Cider until 2031 as the Official Cider and Premier Partner of the Cornish Pirates for the next five seasons.

A leading supporter of rugby in the region, Thatchers will continue to support the Pirates, strengthening a valued partnership that began back in 2018. As part of this new agreement, the Thatchers Logo will feature on the back of our home and away match and replica jerseys.

Thatchers remain ingrained in the club’s matchday experience, and the renewed partnership will see an increase in the brand’s presence at the Mennaye Field stadium. Thatchers will remain as the exclusive ciders sold at the stadium with Gold, Haze, Blood Orange and Apple and Blackcurrant, as well as in the hospitality marquee on match days and branding around the ground will include Thatchers distinctive yellow post protectors and Pitch Side advertising boards. You will have also seen our popular half time activation of the giant inflatable apple rolling – which has become a favourite with the fans!

Thatchers will again be sponsoring a Cornish Pirates player, with an announcement due shortly.

New for this season, we will be announcing the Thatchers Try of the Match for each home fixture and a Try of the Month online vote, with the player presented with a case of Thatchers Gold Cider, the West Country’s most popular pint.
