With reference to this Saturday’s important 2nd Leg encounter in the Championship Cup against Doncaster Knights – kick-off at 2.30pm – the following information is hopefully of use for supporters.
Tickets: Tickets for Saturday’s fixture will be available at the gates on the day (open 12.30pm), whilst in the meantime they can also be purchased on-line. For further information please visit: www.cornish-pirates.com/tickets
Note that tickets will be on pre-sale until 10am on Saturday and will then be available on the gate at a cost of £15 for adults, £1 for children.
Supporter importance: Our support at the Mennaye Field has been growing again this season and it really does help when everyone gets behind the team – legally, as our sixteenth man!
Hospitality: Hospitality numbers have been very encouraging this season, with hospitality proving immensely popular. End of Season Awards: This is the time of year, of course, when various end of season awards are made. A number were presented at the recent End of Season Dinner, whilst we have a further six important awards to make from the main Truro & Penwith College grandstand at the end of the game on Saturday. These will include ‘The Roger Pascoe Cup’ which goes to the chosen Supporters ‘Player of the Year’.
Bradfords Community Cup: Following the recent competition involving some 200 children locally, Saturday will mark ‘Finals Day’ for this worthy inaugural event – with thanks expressed to Bradfords Building Supplies. The teams involved will form the Guard of Honour pre-match and will also play on the pitch during the interval.
Covid Awareness for Match Days: Covid is still with us, so please use your common sense, wear masks if/where felt appropriate, use available hand gel, and also please adhere to requests from our Stewards should they arise.
Live Streaming Match Coverage: For ‘exiles’ and others who can’t make the this weekend’s game at the Mennaye Field in person and are keen not to miss any of the action, it can still be watched live. ‘Tickets’ for the match, priced at £7, can be purchased via:
