The Cornish Pirates return to Camborne RFC this weekend for Round 16 of Champ Rugby! The Pirates enjoyed a winning start to the second half of the season on our last game at The Rec, defeating Ampthill 45-24. It was back down to earth with a bump last weekend though, as the Pirates suffered a heavy defeat at Castle Park against Doncaster Knights – a response this weekend is imperative to resurrect our play off chances. The Cornish Pirates kick started their campaign with a first win of the season at The RAG in October against this Sunday’s opponents and will be hoping for a morale boosting win against the exiles for a league double.
Back at Camborne – come and get behind the team!
We’re back at Camborne as our home venue again after a victorious return against Ampthill last time out. Read more below for what to expect differently to the Mennaye.

For the first time in Champ Rugby history, all 182 league games across the season, plus the play-offs, will be streamed, giving fans complete access to live match-day coverage and an on-demand game archive.

Food, drink and toilets
A limited food a drink stand service will be available this week, with a bar and food van located behind the grandstand. Portaloo toilets courtesy of Andyloos will be stationed in the Fanzone also behind the grandstand.
Ticketing
The ticket office is on 01736 331961 and closes at 4pm on Friday.
Online tickets for all areas can be purchased up to and beyond kick off.
Only Terrace access can be bought on the gates. This will be card payments only this week.
Please note there will be no physical tickets issued, and no tickets available for collection at the gate as they will have been sent digitally. Purchasers on the day will get a stamp to validate their access.
It will no longer be possible to buy upgrades or half time tickets at the gate.
Kids go free. Under 16s need to “buy” a £0 Terrace ticket in advance or on the gate so that they can be admitted. For stands, a normal ticket will need to be purchased but students are eligible for a concessionary ticket which needs to be bought in advance.

Concessionary tickets need to be purchased online and proof of eligibility will be required on entry.
All Microcomms and Tribute Grandstand ticket holders gain entrance to the main grandstand at Camborne. General sale tickets for the grandstand are currently limited.
TPCC Students are eligible for a £5 terrace ticket which can only be purchased at gate 2 or 3 with proof of eligibility.
Both Gates Open at 12.00pm
You can enter from either the gate through the car park or one from Crane Road by foot.

Pre Match hospitality
Hospitality arrivals are from 11:30am, with a slightly reduced service beginning at 12pm. Tihs is located in the main clubhouse.

Match Day Parking
Parking can be found in the overflow car park next to Camborne School. You will be directed to the right unless you have reserved a car parking space, which is located next to the clubhouse, where there are also a limited number of disable spaces. There are also spaces at the train station nearby, which is a 15-20 walk to the ground.
