Firstly, a BIG thank-you to all our supporters who, despite results not going our way of recent, have shown a level of understanding and good sportsmanship that is to be admired. It has not been easy having so many players unavailable for varying reasons, but we will together look for an upturn, hopefully from this Saturday or when we return to the league programme next month.

Now, Hartpury have already beaten us twice this season – away in the Cup and then away in the league – so a tough game is naturally anticipated. Of course, we very much look forward to playing at home and giving it our all and win or lose nobody can ask for more than that.

Note the gates will be open at 12.30pm for the 2.30pm kick-off.

Other general information to note is as follows:

The Pirates Shop – The shop will be open at the match this weekend selling a range items, so please pop along and see Rachel. Remember purchases can be made by CARD ONLY – No cash.

Match Programme – Supporters wishing to access the digital match programme can do so either via the social media link 3 hours before kick-off or via the QR Code located at various points around the ground.

Hospitality – Match day hospitality has gone extremely well this season, so for those interested in booking hospitality on future match days please contact our Hospitality & Events Coordinator, Liz McLean – email: [email protected]

Parking Concerns – A problem highlighted last season was when just a few supporters attending matches thoughtlessly parked on grass verges nearby – a real nuisance, especially when it is, and has been, wet. This season we have no complaints, which is truly commendable, indicating also that due respect is now being shown, and supporters are not letting either themselves or the club down. Well done all!

Match Day Collection – This weekend’s collection is one giving support to Nigel Bell, a gifted member of our Squash and Racketball section. Nigel is this year taking part in the Cycle France 2025 Charity Cycle ride to help raise monies for Cornwall Hospice Care. As ever, please donate a little if you can when the collectors come around also look out for Nigel at a gazebo to be erected in the clubhouse corner of the ground.

Post-Match Entertainment – Once again we will welcome the popular Cadgwith Singers, who will ‘strike up’ as usual in the Yeomans sponsored marquee. As for Will Keating, it’s apologies this week because he will be away with family.

Supporter Importance – Appreciation to our supporters has already been highlighted, and at the Mennaye Field it really does help tremendously when everyone gets behind the team. Outstanding on so many occasions, we really need you again this weekend – as you really are our sixteenth man!

NO Live-Streaming – Unfortunately, by regulation, there is no Live Streaming for the Premiership Cup games. However, for those unable to make the game normal live coverage will be available via the always reliable BBC Radio Cornwall.

Finally, Enjoy the Match ‘One & All’ and Thanks Again for Your Always Outstanding Support!
