With reference to this Saturday’s league encounter against Bedford Blues – kick-off at the earlier time of 12.30pm remember – the following information is hopefully of use for supporters.

For general awareness note that Hospitality for the Doncaster Knights game on the 5^th December is already sold out, however there will be ‘A Hearty Boxing Day Festive Feast Buffet’ when we play Hartpury on the 26^th December (the match kicks off at 5pm).

Tickets:   Back to this weekend, tickets for Saturday’s fixture will be available at the gates on the day (open 10.30am), whilst in the meantime they can also be purchased on-line. For further information please visit: www.cornish-pirates.com/tickets

Note that tickets will be on pre-sale until 8am on Saturday and will then be available on the gate at a cost of £15 for adults, £1 for children.

England v South Africa:   Supporters attending the game on Saturday

will be interested to note that thanks to Lee Miles of Roseworthy Farms, the England versus Springboks international (ko 3.15pm) will also be shown live on a big screen in the ITEC sponsored marquee.

Overall, England and South Africa have played each other on 43 occasions since their first meeting in 1906. The Springboks have won 26 matches, England 15, and two matches have been drawn. England’s last meeting with South Africa occurred in the final of the 2019 Rugby World Cup, when at the end of a bruising encounter they were beaten 32-12.
