First set of Premiership Cup games completed, focus for the Cornish Pirates turns back to the Championship on Friday when for an eleventh versus sixth in the league contest Chinnor will be warmly welcomed to the Mennaye Field. This will be a first ever meeting between the two sides which kicks off at 7.30pm.

General information to note is as follows:

Tickets – Tickets for the game will be available at the gates on the day (open 5.30pm), whilst in the meantime they can also be purchased on-line. For further ticket information please visit:                                                          www.cornish-pirates.com/tickets

The Pirates Shop – The shop, including new stock, will be open on Friday. Purchases can be made by CARD ONLY – No cash.

Match Programme – Supporters wishing to access the digital match programme can do so either via the social media link 3 hours before kick-off or via the QR Code located at various points around the ground.

Hospitality – If interested in booking hospitality on future match days please contact our Hospitality & Events Coordinator, Liz McLean – email: [email protected]

Parking Concerns – A problem highlighted last season was when just a few supporters attending matches thoughtlessly parked on grass verges nearby – never good, and especially when it has been wet. Suffice to say, this naturally gives a bad impression of rugby supporters and inevitably the club, so please don’t let yourselves or the club down. We did identify one or two individuals last season who with thanks apologised.

Match Day Collection – This weekend’s collection will be one in aid of ‘Man Down Cornwall’, an important charitable cause which supports Men’s mental health. In indirect relation to the same barber Gareth Fryer will be in attendance in the marquee to offer Free Haircuts!

Post-Match Entertainment – The Yeomans sponsored marquee should be buzzing post-match on Friday. The popular Cadgwith Singers will strike up as usual, with it hoped that the equally popular Will Keating will follow.

Supporter Importance – As we have highlighted in the past, our support at the Mennaye Field helps tremendously when everyone gets behind the team. Outstanding on so many occasions, we really need you at this time – you really are our sixteenth man!

Live-Streaming – For those, however, who are unfortunately unable to make the match, please note it is being live-streamed. ‘Tickets’, priced £7 only, are available to purchase via: https://www.247.tv/champsrugby

Finally, Enjoy the Match ‘One & All’ and Thanks Again for Your Outstanding Support throughout The Season
