For our second home league of the season, we will welcome Bedford Blues to the Mennaye Field on Saturday (ko 2.30pm). Games between the two sides are invariably entertaining as no doubt will be the case again this week. Obviously, we want to make up for the disappointment of last Friday’s defeat at London Scottish, whilst at the same time it’s time we got back on track against the Blues who have beaten us both home and away in the past two seasons.

General information to note is as follows:

Tickets – Tickets for the game will be available at the gates on the day (open 12.30pm), whilst in the meantime they can also be purchased on-line. For further ticket information please visit:                                                          www.cornish-pirates.com/tickets

Season Ticket Holders in the Covered Stands – Please be aware that to book your normal seat for the Premiership Cup game at home against Exeter Chiefs on the 1st November, you have until the 18th October to do so. Please contact Sue in the ticket office 01736-331961 before then.

The Pirates Shop – New stock should be with us soon but in the meantime the shop will be open on Saturday selling many recent items, with some still at reduced bargain prices. Purchases can be made by CARD ONLY – No cash. At other times available merchandise can be purchased via the online shop link:  https://cornish-pirates.com/shop/

Match Programme – Supporters wishing to access the digital match programme can do so either via the social media link 3 hours before kick-off or via the QR Code located at various points around the ground.

Hospitality – If interested in booking hospitality on future match days please contact our Hospitality & Events Coordinator, Liz McLean – email: [email protected]

Parking Concerns – A problem highlighted last season was when just a few supporters attending matches thoughtlessly parked on grass verges nearby. Suffice to say, this naturally gives a bad impression of rugby supporters and inevitably the club, so please don’t let yourselves of the club down. We did identify one or two individuals last season who with thanks apologised.

Match Day Collection – This weekend’s collection will be one in aid of the ‘Guide Dogs for The Blind’, whose representatives we will warmly welcome. This is an important charitable cause so please donate a little if you can.

Post-Match Entertainment – Once again this weekend we will welcome the popular Cadgwith Singers, who will ‘strike up’ as usual, followed in the Yeomans sponsored marquee by the also equally popular Will Keating!

Supporter Importance – As we have highlighted in the past, our support at the Mennaye Field helps tremendously when everyone gets behind the team. Outstanding on so many occasions, we really need you on Friday – you really are our sixteenth man!

Live-Streaming – For those, however, who are unfortunately unable to make the match, please note it is being live-streamed. ‘Tickets’, priced £7 only, are available to purchase via: https://www.247.tv/champsrugby

Finally, Enjoy the Match ‘One & All’ and Thanks Again for Your Always Outstanding Support!
