Support from Truro & Penwith College Continues

The Cornish Pirates are pleased to announce that Truro and Penwith College, which provides proven outstanding education and inspires futures, has agreed a new two-year partnership with the team.

The Cornish Pirates and the College have worked closely together for well over a decade, each proud of their achievements and with a deep wish to maintain progress and provide opportunities to fulfil dreams.

As a long-standing Premier Partner of the Cornish Pirates, the main grandstand at the Mennaye Field, Penzance, is named the Truro & Penwith College stand, and their logo is displayed on the team’s playing shirts. The team also makes extensive use of the excellent training facilities at the College’s Penwith campus.

Speaking on behalf of the Cornish Pirates, CEO Rebecca Thomas commented:

We have worked closely with them for many years and have seen both Campuses become pivotal in the continued education and development of the young people of Cornwall.  Being able to support this through a professional sporting entity is very important to us and we look forward to continuing the partnership with them.”
