Pirates end of season leavers confirmed

Nearing the end of a month when the Cornish Pirates have confirmed both  the names of various new players who have signed for next season and others who have put pen to paper on new contracts, they have also at this stage confirmed the names of certain players who will be leaving the club, several of whom have already been announced.

In alphabetical order, they are as follows:

Hugh Bokenham, Fintan Coleman, Michael Etete, Tom Georgiou, Harry Hocking, Bruce Houston, Cam Jones, Matt McNab, Oisin Michell, Will Trewin, Jay Tyack, Robin Wedlake.

Speaking with sincere appreciation expressed to each, joint head coach Gavin Cattle has commented:

“During their time with us all the players have added worth in their individual ways. In team sports everybody is needed to contribute, and each has added value to the environment.

“Yes, this season in particular has been really challenging with boys joining at different stages, but we have pulled through admirably and to those who are leaving we thank them wish them all the best in their next chapter.”
