The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that West Country cider maker, Thatchers Cider, have renewed their partnership with the club as the Official Cider for the next two seasons.
A leading supporter of rugby in the region, Thatchers will continue to support the Pirates, strengthening a valued partnership that began back in 2018.
Thatchers is becoming ingrained in the club’s matchday experience, and the renewed partnership will see an increase in the brand’s presence at the Mennaye Field stadium. Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Haze remain as the exclusive ciders sold at the stadium, as well as in the hospitality marquee on match days and branding around the ground will include Thatchers distinctive yellow post protectors.
Having provided player Sponsorship for Alex Schwarz during the last six years, Thatchers will again be sponsoring a Cornish Pirates player, with an announcement due shortly.
New for this season, we will be announcing the Thatchers Try of the Match for each home fixture, with the player presented with a case of Thatchers Gold Cider, the West Country’s most popular pint.
