Ospreys Prop Garyn Arrives on Loan

The Cornish Pirates can confirm that prop forward Garyn Phillips has arrived on loan at the Cornish Pirates from Welsh Pro 14 side Ospreys.

Abercynon-born Garyn, aged 20, is former Wales under 20s player who has made appearances for the Ospreys both in the Pro 14 and the Challenge Cup.

Pleased to welcome the latest fresh face at the Mennaye Field, Cornish Pirates’ joint head coach Alan Paver commented:

“We are lucky and delighted to welcome on board such a young and quality loose-head prop forward. He is physically well constructed and is straight away integrating and enjoying it here.”

Alan added:

“For however long Garyn is with us, he is looking forward to making a positive contribution and we are really pleased.”
