Olly Adkins arrives on loan

The Cornish Pirates can confirm that prop forward Olly Adkins has arrived at the club on a short-term loan deal from Gloucester.

Aged 22, Olly is a former England under 20s international who has also been on loan at Hartpury.

Speaking with reference to Olly’s arrival, Cornish Pirates’ joint head coach Alan Paver commented:

“With Patrick Schickerling presently needed back at Exeter, and with Jack Andrew temporarily unavailable, we are very grateful to Gloucester for enabling us to acquire the services of Olly, who is a talented young loose-head prop.”
