Morgan Nelson signs new deal with the club

The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that Hooker Morgan Nelson has re-signed with the Cornish Pirates for the 26/27 season.

Nelson, in his second spell at the club have rejoined from Prem Rugby outfit Gloucester in the summer, has registered 69 appearances for the Pirates so far with an impressive return of 39 tries.

Joint Head Coach, Alan Paver, highlighted the value of Nelson’s experience.

“We’re delighted to have re-signed Morgan. He brings a wealth of Championship experience, and his time in the Prem with Gloucester has added another layer to his game. His leadership, both on and off the field, has been a major factor for us this season, and we see him as a key part of the future at the Pirates.”

Morgan commented “Signing at the club for another year was an easy decision. The direction the club is going is exciting and for me, I want to be a part of that journey.”
