‘Maverick’ to be Mennaye Mascot

Representing the Cornwall Branch of the RSPCA, ground staff volunteer Paul Kempson, who has been an experienced and much respected RSPCA inspector, will be present with his pet dog ‘Maverick’ at Saturday’s Cornish Pirates versus Coventry game (ko 1.30pm).

A match day collection is to he held for the important RSPCA charity, and Maverick has also been lined up to be a mascot who, accompanied by a Cornish Pirates player, will lead the team onto the field.
