Josh King agrees new contract with the club

The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that lock forward Josh King has signed a new contract with the Cornish Pirates ahead of the 26/27 season.

King, who arrived in the summer of 2023, has gone on to make 71 appearances to date, scoring 10 tries in that time.

Joint Head Coach, Alan Paver, was delighted to secure King’s services for another year.

“We’re absolutely delighted to re-sign Josh – another stalwart of the club. He’s been a big part of what we do, especially in the set piece where he is developing as a lineout caller. He leads from the front and brings a real hard edge to the team and is a key cog in what we’re doing here.”

Josh added “Finishing this season with an injury has been tough but I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity and honour to pull on that jersey for another season.”
