The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce Jewson as a Premier Club Partner ahead of the 2025/26, with additional support of the club. Already the Official Builders Merchant of the Cornish Pirates, Jewson will feature on our new home and away jerseys to be launched later this month, in the new shirt number patch slot. They will also retain the Jewson end stand naming rights at the Newlyn end of the ground.

With a dozen Cornish branches including; Penzance, Hayle, Truro, Penryn, Helston, Redruth, St Austell, Liskeard, West Looe, Wadebridge, Newquay and Launceston, there’s a strong Cornish feel to the UK’s leading chain of builders merchant.

Cornish Pirates Head of Commercial, Ross Hancock, said:

“We are delighted Jewson have extended their support of the Cornish Pirates. It was excellent to welcome them back earlier in the year as our Official Builders Merchant and naming our Newlyn end stand – I know our supporters have really noticed their presence on match days. We’re even more excited to see them come onto our new kits and a new opportunity with the rebrand of Champ Rugby. We can’t wait to share these with everyone very soon.”

Gareth May, Jewson Regional Director for Cornwall & South Devon, commented:

We’re proud to see Jewson’s presence at the Mennaye Field strengthened, and it’s a real honour to re-establish our long-standing relationship with the Cornish Pirates through the renaming of the Jewson End.

Although we’re a national business, our heart lies in supporting local tradespeople. That community focus enables us to invest in Cornish sport at all levels, and we’re delighted to play a part in the continued success of the Pirates.

We’d like to wish the Cornish Pirates all the very best for the 2025/26 season, and we look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces—and meeting new ones—at the Mennaye in the months ahead.
