Further Support from Brooks Financial Planning

Having recently announced that they were delighted to welcome aboard Brooks Financial Planning as a new sponsor of their team’s number 11 and 14 shirts, whereby the ‘Brooks’ logo is embroidered above the numerals on the back of both the home and away kit, the Cornish Pirates can now confirm that further appreciative support has been forthcoming.

The viewing tower behind the posts at the Newlyn end of the Mennaye Field, as used by the club’s Coaches and Analysts, has been considerably upgraded with new cladding, which provides another so worthy example of an improvement made about the ground.

Cornish Pirates’ CEO, Rebecca Thomas, commented:

“Our link up with Brooks Financial Planning has been very positive. The shirt sponsorship was greatly appreciated and more recently their support to suitably clad the tower situated behind the Newlyn posts has made a real difference. It has never looked better!

“We have also enjoyed teaming up with Brooks when a number of our players were kindly invited to join them to participate in a Cornwall Wooden Spoon golf competition held at Lanhydrock, from where they then qualified to play in a National competition held in Henley last week.”

Adam Brooks, Director of Brooks Financial Planning, also said:

We are proud to continue to support the Cornish Pirates this season by refreshing the coaches tower. We see the great work being done by the ground staff and feel the introduction of the tower really puts the icing on the cake and has a real presence in the ground.

Adam added:

“As a company keen to be supporting the team and players both on and off the field – I am also sure more will take up the offer of a round or two of golf when able!”
