Forsythe makes Chiefs move permanent

The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Jack Forsythe from Exeter Chiefs ahead of the 26/27 season.

Back rower Forsythe, who has played Premiership Rugby with Worcester Warriors and Exeter Chiefs, first arrived at The Mennaye last season, before spending all of the current campaign as a dual registered player with the Pirates and Chiefs. Jack has made 20 appearances, scoring three tries in his time so far with the club.

Joint Head Coach, Alan Paver, spoke of Forsythe’s experience at a young age, but also his potential.

“For a young man Jack has played a lot of high level rugby, both in the Prem and Champ and I still think he has a lot potential for growth. He’s a real athlete and brings something different to our back row and that invaluable experience for high pressure situations.”

Jack spoke of how much he has enjoyed his time at the club so far “I’m really excited to spend some more time down here. It’s a great club with great people and I’m very grateful to be a part of it! I can’t wait to see what we can do next season.”
