Following a storming opening day victory over Doncaster Knights at The Mennaye, the Cornish Pirates were brought back down to earth with a bump at Coventry last weekend. Late disruption played a huge part in what was a difficult day at the office, but a new week brings a new challenge!
It doesn’t get any easier with Ealing Trailfinders coming to town – the visitors are 2/2 having gone the full regular season in Champ Rugby unbeaten last year, despite crashing out in the semi finals of the play offs to eventual winners Worcester Warriors.
There have been plenty of titanic clashes between the two, including a famous Pirates win in 2021 and a raucous sell out crowd in December of last year – the Pirates will need The Mennaye in full voice once again this weekend.
