Dan Hiscocks signs contract extension with the Pirates

The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce Dan Hiscocks has signed a contract extension to keep him at the club for the 26/27 season.

The Welsh scrum half, who joined the club from Ealing Trailfinders in the summer of 2024, has earned a reputation as one of the best nines in Champ Rugby, making last year’s Team of the Season. Hiscocks has made 56 appearances so far for the club, scoring 19 tries and captaining the side on occasion this season.

Joint Head Coach, Gavin Cattle, pointed to Hiscocks leadership as a key quality in his impact for the club so far.

“A real break through season for Dan and we are really pleased to be keeping him for another season. His level of professionalism is second to none and he is a great character amongst the team. He is a natural leader and key contributor.”

Hiscocks added “I’m delighted to extend my stay with the Pirates. Cornwall feels like home and I can’t wait to see how far this group can go.”
