Supporters of the Cornish Pirates will be pleased to hear that Dan Frost has signed a one-year contract with the club.
Aged 21, the young hooker made a real impact when enjoying two loan spells from Taunton during the past season. Indeed, featuring in 10 matches and scoring two tries he was also the ‘Tribute’ Player of the Month for December.
“We are really excited to announce that Dan has signed for us,” commented Cornish Pirates’ player/coach Alan Paver, who added:
All will agree that he is a robust, aggressive and tenacious young man who is the type of player we like to have.
In two spells on loan Dan showed what he is about and in his second spell played a part in helping us secure those seven Championship wins in a row, which was a tremendous effort.
His set piece also showed a massive improvement, especially his throwing, and we can only see someone like Dan getting stronger and stronger.
