An Evening with Lions Stars
The marquee at the Mennaye Field, Penzance, will be the venue on Saturday 30th July when Lions’ rugby stars Jack Nowell, Luke Cowan-Dickie, and Stuart Hogg will be present for what promises to be a fantastic evening.
The three will be interviewed on stage to reveal their rugby careers to date, the lifestyle, and no doubt humorous recollections. There will also be an opportunity for audience participation through individual questions that will be invited and at the end of the evening the three guests will be available to have photos taken with audience members.
For England internationals Jack and Luke, presently on tour in Australia and who have both played for the British & Irish Lions, it will be a return home, remembering that the pair are proudly products of the Pirates youth section. Completing the trio, Stuart is, of course, another household name in the world of rugby, who has captained Scotland and played for the British & Irish Lions.
During the evening’s break, there will be items brought by the players to be auctioned for their own personal charities plus a raffle of various items as well.
The evening presented by Kernow Model Rail and with event partner St Austell Brewery is a not to be missed event. There will be unreserved seating so early attendance would be appreciated. The marquee will be open from 5pm for a 6pm start.
Tickets are limited and will be available from 9am Friday 8th July via the Cornish Pirates website. The cost is just £25 per person plus ticket fee of £1.75 and includes a hog roast (or dietary alternative).
