After featuring as a guest player in all three of the Cornish Pirates pre-season games played ahead of their 2024/25 campaign, it was announced in September 2024 that scrum half Will had signed contract with the club.

Will first played club rugby at the age of 15 for Eastleigh RFC near Southampton, including up to playing men’s rugby. He was educated at Bitterne Park School, has played for Worthing Raiders, and for the Royal Navy. Indeed, an Engineering Technician Marine Engineer, he was part of the Royal Navy’s winning senior XV squad at Twickenham in 2023 and started in the narrow loss against the Army there in 2024. He has also captained their 7s team, besides having represented the United Kingdom Armed Forces (UKAF) side.

When younger Will was a diver who competed all around Europe and across the UK, including representing Britain on occasions.

As for hobbies and interests, walking has taken focus on peaks about England, Scotland, and Wales, and nowadays around scenic walks in Cornwall, whilst ‘attempting’ to play golf is also a big hobby.

Will also enjoys a good coffee, especially when relaxing in the sun, and catching up with family is also considered very important.
