Young Sussex-born hooker Sol is dual registered with the Cornish Pirates from Exeter Chiefs.

Sol joined the Chiefs ahead of the 2023/24 season, after being part of the Chiefs’ Academy, of which he is still a member, and undergoing an initial trial period. He experienced senior rugby for the first time and worked extremely hard in training and similarly on the field to try to improve day by day. A reward also included him selected for the England under 19s team.

Educated at Finborough School, Sol initially developed through the ranks of the school as well as gaining age-grade representation for Northampton Saints – a team for whom he featured in an under 18 Premiership Cup Final.

Sol’s entire family have played a huge part as he has grown up, and he is always wanting to make them proud. As for hobbies and interests he is very much into his music and, in his own words “Can even play a couple songs on the piano!”
