Harry, who arrived at the Cornish Pirates in July 2024 on loan from Ealing Trailfinders, first participated in rugby aged five on a wet and boggy weekend at Harrogate. In his own words he hated it. However, his dad persuaded him to go every Sunday and he left Harrogate Rugby Club 14 years later, having made 23 first team appearances.

Harry went to Harrogate Grammar School, where he captained the 1^st XV, which he considered a great distraction among his classmates during his A Levels and GCSEs, and he then went to and played for Northumbria University, and Darlington Mowden Park. He has also represented the Apache 7s and Speranza 7s teams.

Big influences have been his mum Lisa and dad Jonathan, who have always been supportive, whilst his two younger brothers Fred and Paddy also play the game. Both have represented the North of England and have broken into the Yorkshire Academy teams in their respective age groups.

Harry’s dad skippered England under 18s in a World International Schools 7s Tournament, whilst his grandfather captained Sutton & Epsom Rugby Club for 10 years.

Maintaining a sporting theme, albeit it a few decades earlier, of general interest Harry’s great-grandmother on his mum’s side, Evelyn Moeller, featured in Wimbledon’s first ever televised match back in 1952!

As for hobbies, Harry enjoys, Skiing, Surfing, and the Gym.
