Belated best wishes are expressed to former Australian international prop forward Eric Tweedale who celebrated his 99th birthday on the 5th May.
As regular readers of Phil Westren’s weekly Pirates ‘Log’ will be aware (and Eric is a keen recipient), Eric was a member of the visiting Wallabies who stayed three weeks in Penzance at the start of their 1947/48 tour.
