Sponsored by Biffa, two new ‘Sin Bin’ seats were wheeled out for possible use when the Cornish Pirates played Hartpury at home on Sunday. ‘Possible’ use – well, that is very much understating it, as they were quickly warmed up during a game when a total of four yellow cards were issued by referee Mr. Neil Chivers!

And who was the first ever player to take the walk of shame to red seated comfort? Answer: Hartpury’s centre Tom Seabrook, followed later by colleagues Ed Sheldon and Luke Scully. Pirate Callum Patterson also ‘enjoyed’ a 10-minute spell.
