At a time of the year when even in this hot weather the hedges and weeds about the Mennaye Field rugby ground have thrived, the good work regularly undertaken by volunteer ground staff has been boosted by the helpful and willing response shown by Rob Sanders from Helston.
Rob, who runs Sanders Garden & Countryside Maintenance, has, with assistance from colleague Kevin Chapman, been busy hedge-cutting and weed-spraying.
Their efforts are much appreciated, keeping the area tidy in preparation for the new rugby season ahead.
