Stoner & Son to The Rescue

Understanding the importance during this dry and hot spell of not wasting good work undertaken on the Mennaye Field earlier in the close season, the efforts of Cornish Pirates coaches and staff to help keep the grass growing have this past weekend received a welcome boost.

Water pipes and sprinklers have been installed by Director Graham Stone and his son Michael, which should prove of considerable help as they are suitably moved about the field.

Along with input given by Graham and Michael, the extra efforts made by various club personnel is also commendable, as at the Pirates has so often been the case.
