We are a small e-bike hire business with big ideas! We’re not just about hiring bikes. At the heart of our business is the desire to create powerful experiences and amazing memories for our customers, as you explore Cornwall in a unique and exciting way.

We promise to make every interaction with us, a positive moment to remember. Our name ‘Ride On’ is a play on the colloquial Cornish saying ‘Right On,’ which is an expression of great contentment, greatness or agreement. Feeling ‘Right On’ means you have a sense of wellbeing. It also means that you’re in agreement with somebody that a particular situation, pasty or wave is OK. We want you to feel ‘Right On’ on a ‘Ride On!’ With that in mind, from the moment you touch base with us, either by email, phone or on social media, we’re here to help.

If you simply want to hire and go, you can do that but know you can always give us a bell during your adventure for any help. If you want a more tailored approach, with some suggestions on routes, places of interest or recommended places to eat and drink, through to a full concierge service (coming in the summer) we can offer you all that too! It’s your ride, have it your way!

You can book online or in person and collect and drop off from the shop or, for an additional charge, we offer a delivery/collection service to anywhere within a 10 mile radius of our Penzance base. This will allow you to enjoy your ride anywhere in Penwith and enjoy a drink at the end of the day for your efforts without having to worry about ‘drink riding’ as we will pick you up from your final destination and drop you back to where you need to be anywhere in Penwith. Additionally, if you are holiday in a remote location, we can drop the bikes to your hotel or holiday cottage – we are happy to support your perfect day.

Our hire shop is a stone’s throw from the shores of beautiful Mount’s Bay at Trinity Yard and we have some feather flags/signs to guide the way. A great reference point is either the Dock or Dolphin pub so if you make your way there you won’t go far wrong. We serve a fantastic flat white and have a whole host of other drinks, refreshments and merchandise on offer so even if you are not booking a hire immediately or just passing by, why not come and have a chat and enjoy the coffee and treats by Cake Jmo as we are open from 0700 – till late daily.
