Peter’s Funeral Date is Confirmed
The funeral details for Peter George, who sadly passed away recently, aged 74, have been confirmed. It will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Penzance, on Friday 11th October, commencing 2pm.

Peter was a true legend of sport in West Cornwall – and beyond, and it is thus of no surprise that numerous worthy tributes have been expressed since his passing.

Thoughts are also with his wife Anita, sons Nicholas and Mark, and all family members.

Following Peter’s funeral, to fondly remember a very fine man who was so busily involved in the community and gave a lifetime of service, everyone is invited back to the Pirates Rugby Club.
