Impact are an Irish company and sponsor many international players and teams in all forms of contact sports. Their gumshields are unique and patented, instead of having a mouth full of putty to take your impression for your custom fit gumshield they 3D scan your mouth and then print your gumshield using a 3D printer. This to me is an amazing advance in technology, however according to their owner James Murphy it’s only the beginning, as in the future their gumshields will have sensors to measure various body metrics to become a smart gumshield.
