Episode four sees hosts Michael Casey & Ben Gulliver welcome Leicester Tigers Captain Tom Youngs to the Show. Tom’s career needs little introduction, having been a member of the 2013 British Lions squad with 28 England Caps and a Premiership winners medal to boot.
Youngs has amassed over 200 appearances for the Tigers but before he became a star at Welford Road he was honing his craft in the Championship. The 34-year-old talks about how he first tasted regular first team rugby as a centre with Bedford Blues before switching to hooker and learning the dark arts of the front-row on loan at Nottingham.
The shows second guest is Jersey Reds’ George Edgson. Aged 25, George has experience beyond his years as speaks with insight and clarity on his time in the Championship which has seen him feature for Rotherham Titans, Bedford Blues, Ealing Trailfinders and Jersey Reds.
As a Hartpury College graduate that went on to be part of the Wasps Academy, George has rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest stars of the English game and speaks candidly about his experiences and expectations of the division.
