During his present trip back home to Cornwall, always community-minded Cornish Pirates’ Director Colin Groves, who is also Chairman of Waikato Rugby in New Zealand, happily responded when invited to open the new ‘Pitter Patter Playtime’ nursery in Truro.
Based at the Kenwyn Care Home, Pitter Patter Playtime is inter-generational, so besides the children welcome older folk were also present.
On behalf of the new nursery, Kenwyn Care Home’s Activities coordinator Katy Mitchell said:
A number of our staff are huge Pirates fans, so it was great that Colin was back in the county and able to kindly respond to our invitation.
