Organised by the Cornish Pirates players, their 2019 Mo-vember efforts have raised a very worthwhile sum totalling £727-50. The amount included £372-50 collected during the recent home game against Nottingham.

Player representative Tom Channon has commented:
Our moustache growing ‘Mo-vember’ efforts last year raised £660, so it was extra special to better it this year.
On behalf of the players, I would like to thank our generous supporters once again and indeed everyone who made donations. They were really appreciated.
The monies raised will be split between the Prostate & Testicular Cancer and Mental Health & Suicide in Men charities. Both are very important.
Tom added:
To me personally, with reference to men’s mental health it has been a bonus that attention and awareness has been raised about a subject which in the past was, in the eyes of many, a perceived stigma. It’s ongoing but real progress has been made.
