When the Cornish Pirates welcome Yorkshire Carnegie to the Mennaye Field on Sunday 21st April (ko 2.30pm), they will also be hosting another popular Coaching Clinic for children aged from under 8s to under 13s.
The Coaching Clinic will include:
• Pre-match Coaching Session (one hour)
• Cornish Pirates Players Q&A (minimum two players)
• Lunch Pack
• Child’s Match Day ticket
• Guard of Honour Pre-game
• Exhibition Game at Half-time
• Contact Elements within Age Group Regulations
• Access to Players for Autographs
The Clinic itself, though offering a modern, innovative coaching experience to develop the vital skills and techniques of rugby, is designed for all abilities.
Importantly, the Core Values of Rugby (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship) will also be emphasised throughout. Two mascots will be chosen from children those values.
The cost per child is just £15 with the deadline of Wednesday the 17th of April 2019 – to be made by either by telephone to Sue Read at the Ticket Office (01736-331961 open Mon-Fri 9am to 12 noon) or by cheque, made payable to Cornish Pirates and sent to Sue Read, Cornish Pirates Ticket Office, Alexandra Road, Penzance, TR18 4LY.
