Watch the best in the west when the Cornish Pirates face Exeter Chiefs at the Mennaye Field, Penzance, on Friday 17th August (ko 7.30pm).

This should be a great occasion on a day when the Cornish Pirates will also be hosting a Coaching Clinic – with bonuses! – for rugby players aged from under 9s to under 13s.

Besides the Coaching Clinic, this unique opportunity will enable the youngsters to have a Q&A session with the Pirates, form the Guard of Honour when the teams run out onto the pitch, plus play in the half-time rugby exhibition in front of a likely sell-out crowd. Photographs will be taken, with access to meet the star players and obtain autographs from both teams, on the field, post-match. Finally, the young rugby players will be given refreshments, plus other goodies.

There will be plenty to wave the flag for on what promises to be a ‘Funtastic’ evening!

The Clinic itself, though offering a modern, innovative coaching experience to develop the vital skills and techniques of rugby, is designed for all abilities. So, if you are new to the game or perhaps the next local talent, such as locally-bred England stars Jack Nowell and Luke Cowan-Dickie, there is something for you.

Importantly, the Core Values of Rugby (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship) will also be emphasised throughout what promises to be a ‘Funtastic’ evening.

Payment Arrangements:

The cost per child is just £15 – to be made by either by telephone to Sue Read at the Ticket Office (01736-331961 open Mon-Fri 9am to 12 noon) or by cheque, made payable to Cornish Pirates and sent to Sue Read, Cornish Pirates Ticket Office, Alexandra Road, Penzance, TR18 4LY.
